FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Full FAQ
01

What does AS9100D certification mean for our program?

AS9100D is the controlling quality management standard for aerospace manufacturers. It layers ISO 9001 with aerospace-specific requirements covering configuration management, risk, first article inspection, and counterfeit-part prevention. For your program it means documented, audited processes from quote through delivery.
02

Are you ITAR-registered, and what does that cover?

Yes. NASO Industries is registered with the U.S. State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls under our CAGE Code 0M796. We operate a U.S.-only, access-controlled production environment for ITAR-restricted articles.
03

What is your typical lead time for a new program?

New-program prototypes typically quote within 5 business days and ship within 4–6 weeks of release, depending on long-lead parts. Low-rate production typically lands in the 8–12 week window. Quick-turn programs are reviewed case by case.
04

Do you offer single-source PCB, machining, and box build?

Yes. Single-source integration is core to our offering. PCB assembly, precision CNC machining, cable & harness assembly, and box build all run under one AS9100 quality system in one Ventura, California facility.
